The City of Hartford only collects personal information necessary to administer services and process payments and refunds. We may also disclose your personal information to comply with any court order, law, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request; to enforce or apply our terms of use and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes; or if we believe disclosure is necessary of appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the City of Hartford, our employees, our customers, or others. This may include exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purpose of fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Please note, however, that all non- exempt information collected on the City of Hartford’s website may be subject to public disclosure under KRS 61.870 et. Seq., of the Kentucky Open Records Act. However, public records containing information of a personal nature are protected from disclosure by the personal privacy exemption of state law where the public disclosure thereof would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
